My Name is Daniel
The newest musical from Theater for
the Thirsty.
A lions' den... a fiery
furnace... No, it's not "Survivor: the Musical." It's
a new take on the story of Daniel– complete with a "Sound
of Music" parody. Directed by Jeff Miller (formerly of "The
Refreshment Comittee"), featuring musical arrangements by
Michael Pearce Donley of "Triple Espresso," and introducing
a third cast-member, actor Nathaniel Norton.
"‘My
Name is Daniel’ kept me at the edge of my seat from the
opening scene to the final bow. I was thoroughly entertained and
completely challenged in my faith as I watched one of my favorite
Bible stories come to life. Lyrically written and powerfully performed,
the Gamble’s deftly weave life application into Daniel’s
story in a way that inspires you to laugh, challenges you to think,
and makes you want to see it again and again.”
